He was predeceased by: his father James Akley. He is survived by: his mother Linda Carpenter Akley of Cohoes; his wife Paula Marshall Akley of Cohoes; his daughter Erica Akley of Green Island; his grandsons, Jeremiah and Jace; his siblings, Heidi Akley, William Stata of Grafton and Holly McGreevy (Dave) of Cohoes; and his mother-in-law Linda Marshall of Cohoes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc. (216 Columbia St, Cohoes, NY 12047). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gerald B H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
