He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Duncan and Patricia A. Thornton Duncan; and his former wife Judith D. Wagner Duncan. He is survived by: his fiancée Valerie Dessingue; his children, Kristen Duncan (Suzie Coyne), JJ Duncan and Elizabeth Duncan; and his siblings, Richard Duncan (Nancy), Terry Duncan, Cynthia Bornt (Homer), Troy and Brian Duncan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
