We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2019, at the age of 88, Irene Ann Bania (Cohoes, New York), born in Watervliet, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Drzewiecki and Stella "Stacia" Drzewiecki (Czarnecka); and her siblings, Victoria V. Drzewiecki and Frank Drzewiecki. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Andrew Bania; her children, Roman Catholic, Christopher Bania (Robin), Dr. Theodore "Tod" Bania (Gregory Almond), Dr. Margret Bania, Dr. Merita Bania and Dr. John Paul Bania; and her granddaughters, Kristen Bania and Brooke Wojcik.
