He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Peterson and Gertrude Scott Peterson; and his brother James. He is survived by: his former wife Georgia Riggs Peterson; his children, Lorie Bergen (Timothy Derocher), Rodney Peterson (Ingrid), Gerald Peterson (Cathy) and Shane Peterson (Kathleen Hunt); his siblings, Andrew Peterson, Mary Friedell, Joseph, George, Irene and Margaret Peterson; and his grandchildren, Tommy Feiden, Bryan Feiden, Falicia Peterson, Kendahl Peterson, Julian Peterson, Kristina Scheibner, Melissa Scheibner and Kevin Scheibner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
