She was predeceased by: her mother Leona Hebert Riggs; her husband Gerald W. Peterson; and her sisters, Elaine Cropsey and Jane Kinns. She is survived by: her children, Rodney Peterson (Ingrid), Jay Peterson (Cathy), Shane Peterson (Kathy) and Lorie Derocher (Tim); her brother Ronald Riggs (Lee); and her grandchildren, Falicia Peterson, Kendahl Peterson, Julian Peterson, Thomas Feiden (Katie), Bryan Feiden, Kristina, Melissa and Kevin Scheibner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Georgia's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
