He was predeceased by: his parents, George Marcil and Mary Cunningham Marcil; his wife Colleen Magin Marcil; and his sister Karen Marcil. He is survived by: his children, Karen Mills (Doug), Joe Marcil (Staci), Kathleen Osterhout (Richard) and Colleen McLarney (Dan); his grandchildren, Megan Paradiso (Joe), Samantha Mills, Adam Marcil, Joshua Marcil, Shawn Marcil (Alysia Lis), Richard Osterhout (Kaitlyn Daniels), Stephanie Osterhout (Chris Meyer), Patrick Marcil, Heidi McLarney, Nicole McLarney and Megan McLarney; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Lis Marcil, Ella Lis Marcil, Theodore Meyer and Juliana Stevens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to concerns over COVID-19 funeral services will be private at Holy Trinity Parish in Cohoes.
