She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Chard and Thelma Santspree Chard; her former life partner Stephen W. Carpenter; and her daughter Candace Carpenter. She is survived by : her children, Stephen S. Carpenter (Mandy Chura) of Troy, Jennifer Powers (John) of Cohoes and Brandi Ashley of Clifton Park; her fiancé Daniel Brown of Clifton Park; and her sibling Brandt Chard of Cohoes. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
