It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire A. Peat (Cohoes, New York), who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brassard and Odile Dame Brassard; her spouse Francis J. Peat; her child Thomas Peat (Mary Alice); and her sister Aline.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Morris (Norman) of Loudonville and Dr. Dennis Peat (Carol) of Flagstaff, AZ; her grandchildren, Michelle Peat, James Morris, Jennifer Peat Kyea (Alan), Christine Peat and Karen Peat Woodbury (Wayne); and her siblings, Alice, Irene, Estelle Theresa, Donald, Raymond and Francis Brassard. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
