She was predeceased by: her mother Angelina Barbera Gowett. She is survived by: her father John R. Gowett of Tupper Lake; her daughters, Tina Simpson of Cohoes, Charleen Simpson of Cohoes and Jennifer Simpson of Cohoes; her grandchildren, Brian Slater, Brandon Slater and Chaylynn Simpson; her brothers, Douglas Gowett and Robert Gowett; and her boyfriend John Mattey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
