It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera G. Page in Cohocton, New York, born in Almond, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bates and Mildred Huber Bates; her former husband Norman Avery; her siblings, Delores Taylor, Wanda Skinkle, Richard Bates and Rosemarie Zeh; and her sons, John Harold Avery and Leroy Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Matt Foster), Valerie (Rich Kelleher), Penny (Victor Schumacher), Roxanne (Paul VanCaeseele), Norman (Betty Avery), Spencer Avery and Keith (Stephanie Avery); her sister-in-law Jackie Avery of Cohocton; and her siblings, Howard Bates, Vaughn Bates, Monty Bates, Harold Bates, Bonnie Johnson and Joeanne Mayer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
