It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Thatcher (Coeymans, New York), born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sickler and Evelyn Pieper; her husband Frank E. Thatcher; her sister June Christiana; her son Howard Thatcher; and her son-in-law Ronald Wickham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Wickham and Brenda Shields; her brother Ralph Sickler; and her grandchildren, Heather Meyer (Paul), Oscar Boomer (Jennifer), Dekon Boomer, William Boomer (Sheri), Stacey Bathrick (Zane), Christie Pla (Luis), Lindsey Apunte (Simon) and Martin Shields (Anna). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jean may be made to Senior Projects of Ravena, Meals on Wheels, 9 Bruno Blvd., Ravena, NY 12143.
