She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Townsend and Jessie Neill Townsend; and her brother Walter Townsend. She is survived by: her husband William Erdman; her children, Lyn Bowen of Rifle, CO, Sherry Benson of Ballston Spa, NY, Jennifer Laarmann of Jeffersonville, NY and Brett Erdman (Amber Welton) of Cochecton, NY; and her siblings, Laurie DePaolo, Lisa Moran (Thomas) and Wayne Townsend (Mary Alice). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
