She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bernas and Ann Eitner Bernas; and her siblings, John, Michael Bernas and Joan Ernst.

She is survived by: her nephews, Ian Ernst (Jodi), Jeremy Ernst (Crystal), John Bernas (Michelle), Matthew Bernas (Jennifer) and Luke Bernas (Ivanna); her niece Morgan Bernas (Ted); and her siblings-in-law, Lanny Ernst and Lynne Bernas.
