She was predeceased by: her parents, William Russell and Sophia Russell (Skipwith); her husband Claude V. Ray; and her siblings, Vincent, Raymond, James, Francis, Franklyn, Bernetta and Julia.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Ray (Marcia) of Carlisle, Kent A. Ray (Cathi Hedman) of Sprakers and Kurt Ray (Deborah) of Clifton Park; her brothers, Skipwith "Teenie" Russell of Sacramento, CA and Lee "Butch" Russell of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Aaron (Marissa), Jordan Ray (Krystal), Jessica Ray (Amy), Marissa, Taylor Ray, McKenzie Ray and Austin Becker; her great grandchildren, Josephine Vena Ray and Charlie Rose Ray; and her godson Joseph Collins. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
