She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Kromer Smith and Hazel Mae Smith (Deyo); her siblings-in-law, Ted Rich, Wilson Young, Walt Aker, Ruthie Rich and Josephine Aker; her nephew John Rich; her son-in-law Richard Tanner; and her husband Paul Clinton Rich of Gardnersville.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paulette Marie VanGiesen (James) of Smithville Flats, NY, Christine Ann Yourno (Joseph) of Middleburgh, NY and Cheryl Louise Rich of Oneonta, NY; her sister Marion Iva Young of Delmar, NY; her grandson Scott Paul VanGiesen (Valorie Rose VanGiesen); and her great grandchild Keziah Teal VanGiesen.
