She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Johns and Mary Jane Johns (Boughton); her husband Jack D. VanBuren; her sons, Brian VanBuren (Deb) of Greenville, TN, Kevin VanBuren of Roseboom, Stacy VanBuren (Lorel) of Roseboom and Aaron VanBuren of Roseboom; her sister Esther Banks of Schenectady; her grandchildren, Cody, Abby, Johnny, Amanda, Mitchell, Felicia, Alexis and Avery; and also Norma.
