He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Merchant and Cheryl Traino (Merkley); his siblings, Ryan Merchant, Tara Kenney, Jordan Brown, Tanner Brown, Kalina Merchant and Brandon Merchant; his grandmother Lois Merkley; and his pet Bubbles. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
