She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Freeman Cates and Frances Cates (Campagna); and her husband David Thedore Hunt. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Hunt of Cobleskill, James Hunt (Sarah) of Middleburgh and Robert Hunt (Adrianne) of Fultonham; her brothers, Kenneth Cates (Yolanda) of Texas and James Cates (Mary Ellen) of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Allison, Alicia Hunt, Ellise and Ethyn Hunt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
