He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Beverly Lillain Goetz Thompson; and his sister JoAnn Rocha. He is survived by: his husband Robert Pingrey of Cobleskill, NY; his son John Matthew Thompson (Michelle) of Oregon; his siblings, Yvonne Weber, Louise Lavar (Rick), Robert Thompson (Jo Ann) and Tony Thompson; and his sister-in-law Rebecca Colon (Ken) of Esperance, NY. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
