We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2020, at the age of 82, John Janakis of Cobleskill, New York, born in Kingston, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Janakis and Libby Janakis (Sarkies); his wife Barbara Janakis (Haggerty); his son John E. Janakis, Jr. (Valerie G.) of Richmondville; his grandchildren, John E. Janakis and Alexandria Janakis; his son Darren M. Janakis (Becky) of South Berwick, ME; his stepsons, Joshua, Elliott and Jacob; and his sisters, Agnes Stage of Davie, FL, Mary Janakis Quinn and Irene Janakis. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
