It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Hviid (Cobleskill, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arne Hviid and Dorothy Erland (Reusman); his daughters, Erika Morell (Harold) of Worcester and Kara Pigliavento (Vincent) of Schenectady; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jenna and Kassie; and his siblings, Jeannette Hviid of Richmondville and Warren "Roy" Melby of Cobleskill. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
