She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Slater; and her sister Agnes O'Boyle. She is survived by: her children, Philip Slater (Sandy), Robert Slater, Theresa Schroder (Perry), Thomas Slater (Brenda), Stephen Slater (MaryJo), Penny Baldwin (Weslie), Joan Palmatier (Robert) and Richard Slater (Sherry); and her sister Gertrude Smith. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
