He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward M. and Jean Elsensohn Sr. (DeLeo); his son David Empie; his wife Connie Elsensohn (Bascomb); his children, Shannon Sylvester of Cobleskill, Jeremy Clapper (Angela) of Cobleskill, Diedra Lewis of Cobleskill and Mylea Empie of Cobleskill, NY; his sisters, Gail White of Beaumont, TX and Yvonne DePrez (Charles) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Ava Markle, Dalton, Larson Clapper, Lauren, Devin Lewis, Jamie Gray, Hailey Andrejcak and Brittany Cushman (Michael); and his great grandchild Claire Cushman. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
