He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsworth Stanley Elwood and Helen Buhlman Elwood; his wife Mary Elwood; his grandson Benjamin Derr; his sister Susan Schultz; and his son-in-law Dennis Myers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betsy Elwood (Jim Walker) of Rotterdam, NY, Andrea Myers (John Hart) of Carlisle, NY and Heather O'Neil (Jim); his granddaughter Shannon Derr of Central Bridge, NY; and his sister Ann Elwood of Cardiff California.
