We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 83, Dan Dayton (Cobleskill, New York), born in Hobart, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Dayton and Marjorie Danforth Dayton; his former wife Valerie F. Dayton; and his brother Rodney Dayton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Susan "Sue" Dayton; his children, Kourtney Chimene, Kerry Dayton and Kevin Dayton (Karen); his grandchildren, Sierra Chimene, Kelsey Roberts, Rylee Dayton and Connor Dayton; his sister Dawn Lewis; his nephew James Van Regenmortel (Aloe); his great-niece Jasmine; his brother-in-law William Bernaski (Marjorie); and also, John Valchovic (Christine), Amy Mulyca (Joe), Travis, Jack Mulyca, Zane, Jake and Luke Valchovic.
One of Dan's favorite charities was the Jefferson Food Pantry and contributions can be made to the Jefferson Food Pantry, 1333 Main Street, Jefferson, NY 12093.
