He is survived by: his wife Mary Susan "Sue" Dayton; his children, Kourtney Chimene, Kerry Dayton and Kevin Dayton (Karen); his grandchildren, Sierra Chimene, Kelsey Roberts, Rylee Dayton and Connor Dayton; his sister Dawn Lewis; his nephew James Van Regenmortel (Aloe); his great-niece Jasmine; his brother-in-law William Bernaski (Marjorie); and also, John Valchovic (Christine), Amy Mulyca (Joe), Travis, Jack Mulyca, Zane, Jake and Luke Valchovic.
One of Dan's favorite charities was the Jefferson Food Pantry and contributions can be made to the Jefferson Food Pantry, 1333 Main Street, Jefferson, NY 12093.
