He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Alberto Ibarra and Mercedes Fernandez of Ibarra; his wife Barbara Jane Jacobsen; his brother Luis; and his grandson Jacob E. Himme.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Ibarra (Cheryl), Steven Ibarra (Jill), Lisa Himme (William), David Ibarra (Karen) and Ana Brandt; his grandchildren, Joshua, Nathan, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Danielle, Sarah, Evan, Olivia and Ava; and his great grandchild Haven.
