She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Margaret Howard Petersen; her husband Erland A. Carlson; her brothers, John M. and Richard C. Petersen; her sister-in-law Gertrude Petersen; her children, Catherine Nyweide (Crandall) and David Carlson; and her granddaughters, Cassandra, Claire, Samantha and Ava.
