He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Rice and Nettie Steitler Rice; his son Roger Rice; his brothers, Everett Rice and Ernie Prince; his grandson Roger Rice Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Clara Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Gould (Ray) of Savannah, Shirley Burnisky (Paul) of Phelps, Melanie Brockhuizen (Ed) of Newark and Randy Rice of Savannah; and his brothers, Bruce Rice (Joyce), David Rice (Mary Grace) and Merle Rice (Shirley). He is also survived by sister, June Webber, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
