He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Schmoldt and Annette Schmoldt (Engles); his wife Shirley M. Kreinbrink; his brothers, Thomas and Roger Schmoldt; his sister-in-law Judy Schmoldt; and his stepmother Frances Schmoldt.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Robertson (Andy) of Williamsburg, Terri Wildes (Delbert) of Janesville, Wis, Martin Schmoldt of Tacoma, Wash, Margaret Anstee (James) of Clyde, N. Y., Edwin Schmoldt (Terrie) of Evansville and Karen Paddock (James Barker) of Clyde, N. Y.; and his sister-in-law Arlene Schmoldt. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
