He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Burley and Edith Burley; and his siblings, Paul and Sue Gommer. He is survived by: his son Brett Burley; his grandchildren, Izzy and Tom Burley; his sisters, Rosemary Nevlezer (Paul) and Jacqueline Kearney (Michael); his significant other Madeline Teter; and his significant other's daughters, Sara Odar (Manny), Erica Moorman (Joseph) and Johanna McKinnon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
