He is survived by: his children, William Capanna (Joan), Deborah Coyle (Thomas) and John Capanna; his grandsons, Dr. Michael Coyle (Stephanie Bjork) and Andrew Coyle (Devika); his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Nora; and his nephew Peter Yarosz.
