With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valida Jean Cefaly of Clinton, New York, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Valida Jean departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Valida Jean may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Valida Jean leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charron and Edna Charron. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Cefaly; and her children, Janet Whittaker of Ilion, NY, David Cefaly of Clinton, NY and Jean Burrows of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
