She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Hawthorne and Edith Hawthorne (Bradbury); and her close friend Ward Mason. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Champion; her son Richard Champion of Clinton; her grandchildren, Tara Skinner and Richard Champion II; and her close friend Martin Robinson.
