It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Rappleyea (Clinton, New York), born in Norwich, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rappleyea and Mary Griffin Rappleyea; his wife Jane Wilder August; and his brothers, Clarence Jr. and Ron Coleman (Jane).
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert of Florida and Linda Wake of Endwell; his children, Betsey Weaver (James) of Vernon, Carrie Otto (Charles) of Magnolia Delaware and Andrew Rappleyea (Beverly) of Loxahatchee, FL; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Weaver (Jessica Weaver), Vanessa, Dillon (Trevor Otto), Joshua and Ella (Haley Rappleyea); his stepchildren, Kim, Brock (Mandy) and Melissa; and his sister-in-law Betsey Wilder Deleuse. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
