He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Lewek and Josephine Tomczyk Lewek; his brother Larry Lewek; his nephew Scott Lewek; and also Gary Plescia.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Lewek-LaPorte (Louie) of Deerfield; his close friend Lizabeth Walker (Betsy) of Clinton; his sister-in-law Kathleen Lewek of Deerfield; his niece Lori Sherwood (Chris) of Verona; his great-niece Sophia Sherwood; and his great-nephew Noah Sherwood.
