He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Caporale and Theresa Montemurro Caporale; his close friend Josephine Cieslak; his daughter Tammy Caporale; and his sister Marie Royce.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Melious; and his daughter Amy Mancini of Frankfort. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
