It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marla G. Bennett of Clinton, New York, who passed away at the age of 87, on January 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Marla is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marla's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cederholm and Thelma Cederholm (Huntzinger); and her sister Edith Lepley (Dee) of Toms River, N. J.. She is survived by: her children, Herbert G. Bennett III (Beth) of Whitesboro, Lori Smaldon (Mark) of Lee Center, Sheri Hall (Don) of Ilion, Richard Bennett (Kathy) of Utica and Raymond Bennett (Karla) of Utica; and her brother Arthur Cederholm (Darlene) of Holton, Kansas.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2620 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13502).
