He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Powles and Velma Powles; his granddaughter Morgan Bowers; and his brother-in-law Richard Barber. He is survived by: his wife Donna Powles; his children, Jay (Karen), Michael (Jean), Christopher, Connie, Jason and Kelly; his stepdaughter Kelly; and his siblings, Judith Potter, Janice Galkiewicz (Michael), Deborah Leonard (Timothy), David Powles (Pamela), Wendy Powles and Sherri Barber. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild and 2 great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crosspoint Church (317 Oriskany Blvd, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
