He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kowansky and Helen Kowansky (Mazula); and his wife Helen. He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Kowansky (Ram Josyula) and Ann (Joe Gale); his grandchildren, Alexandra Gale, Louisa Gale, Audrey Gale, Charlotte Gale, Gabriel Josyula and Mariam Josyula; his sister Ruthie Zabinski; his sister-in-law Dottie Dook; his nieces and nephews, Michael Dook, Susan George, Sandra Berry, Paul Zabinski and Tom Zabinski; and his caregivers, John and Helen.
