He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Horrocks and Elizabeth; his sister Cynthia Barns; and his brothers-in-law, Arthur Barns, Friedel and Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Balch of Wilmette, IL; his children, Thomas S. Balch (Paula) of Clinton, NY, Michael M. Balch (Helen) of Wilmette, IL and Carolyn B. Streett (Michael) of Wilmette, IL; and his siblings, Barbara Colt (Tim) and Richard Balch (Judy). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
