She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hunt and Dorothy Mae Hunt (Edick); and her brother-in-law Robert Cook. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Schafer; her children, Constance Ann Maynard, Richard P. Maynard Jr. (Christine) and Linda L. Petras (David W.); her grandchildren, Grace Maynard, Olivia Maynard, Frederick Balkcom (Kelci) and Zackary Balkcom; her sister Carol Hailstork; and her sister-in-law Joan Cook. She is also survived by her many family members and friends.
