She is survived by: her husband Arthur F. Barns; her children, Frederic (Kathleen Cleary-Barns), Jonathan (Mary), James (Janet), Cady Lyons (George), Marcus (Linda), Charity and Sam (Erin); and her siblings, James Balch (Gretchen), Barbara Colt (Tim) and Richard (Judy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
