She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Lefebvre and Beatrice Lefebvre (Gouin); her former husband Maxwell Sammon; her husband Norman Mennecke; her grandson Derek Mennecke; and her brother Raymond Lefebvre.

She is survived by: her children, Susan King (John), Donald Mennecke (Mara), Frederick Mennecke (Christi Branson) and Ronald Mennecke (Angela); her grandchildren, Jennifer Harris (Andrew), Carolyn Gardner (John), Trisha Gavett, Kimberly Mennecke, Matthew Mennecke (Faith), Timothy Mennecke, Victoria Mennecke, Bryan Mennecke, Corey Mennecke and Jacob Mennecke; and her caregiver Katie.
