He was predeceased by: his parents, Solon Johnson and Anna Kilts Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Vicki Besler (Steven), Rick Johnson, Scott Johnson (Jill) and Valorie Johnson Lindsay; his grandchildren, Jessica Rosato (Jon), Justin Besler (Melissa), Joshua Johnson (Kelly) and Shawn Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ashley Johnson, Dominick Rosato, Ethan and Evan Besler; and his friends, Diane Pomianowitz, Wally and Pat. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Wally's life will be held privately at Skyline Baptist Church, 7582 New Floyd Rd. Rome, NY 13440 on Wednesday Jan.20, 2021 at 2:00p.m. where the Rev. David Ossenfort, will officiate and military honors will be conferred.Contributions may be made to the Shepherd's Ministry PO Box 430 New Hartford, NY 13413.
