She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Engel and Ruth Engel. She is survived by: her husband Michael J. Townsend; her sons, Michael A. Townsend (Michelle) and Matthew Townsend; her grandsons, Maverick Townsend, Everett Townsend and Vance Townsend; and her siblings, Beth Peppone of Syracuse, NY, Robert Engel of Syracuse, NY, Ruth Engel of Prattsburgh, NY, Arthur, Tina Engel of Naperville, IL and Barbara Kenney of Laurel Springs, NJ. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
