Barbara G. Starnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara G. Starnes (Clinton, New York), who passed away on February 10, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beatrice Graves and Edgar "Digger" Graves of Hamilton's History Department; her son Stephen; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Palmer Starnes Califano. She was also cherished by two great grandchildren.
Barbara received the Jeff Little '71 2016 Volunteer of the Year Award from Hamilton and continued to volunteer as a hostess for Alumni, Students and Faculty at her home until the Pandemic set in.
Donations of charitable nature can be made in Barbara's memory to: The Class of 1980 Phyllis Holmes Breland Scholarship at Hamilton College, The Sage Rink Renovation at Hamilton, The Stephen Palmer Graves Memorial Fund at Hamilton, or the Munson in Utica.
