We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Leon R. Coon in Clifton Springs, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claire Coon and Viola Hill Coon; and his brothers, Gerald and John. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Coon of Phelps; his daughters, Penelope Hill (Steven) of Lyons and Mindy Cirasuolo of Webster; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Andrea, Jared and Aaron; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Himes (Gary) of Sodus, NY and Susan Coon. He is also survived by Several great-grandchildren, niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cheney Funeral Home (70 Main St, Phelps, NY 14532). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Waterloo English Congregation (1072 NY-96, Waterloo, NY 13165).
It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Waterloo English Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses 1072 Rt. 96 Waterloo NY 13165.
