He was predeceased by: his parents, David Mollenkopf and Mary Mollenkopf (Showers); and his siblings, George, Charles, Clarence, Dorothy Mollenkopf, Alice Lindstrom, Evelyn Lang, Beulah VanLare, Esther VanSchaffel and Mabel Pembroke.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mollenkopf (Landry); his children, Randy Mollenkopf, Scott Mollenkopf, Kim Mollenkopf and Holly Precourt (Joe); his grandchildren, Chad Schmitt, Bailey Mollenkopf and Kennedy Mollenkopf; his great grandchildren, Brinley and Braxton; and his sister-in-law Anna Mollenkopf.
