He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Sampson and Francis Bowe; his siblings, William Bowe (Fran), Betty Cummings (Don) and Joann DeHond (Richard); and his wife Mary Jankowski.

He is survived by: his children, Candice Snowden (Ricky Counselman), Lance Bowe (Cherie), Melanie Bowe and D. J. Bowe; his stepchildren, Kim Marie Utz (Shawn) and Craig Curtice (Suzanne); and his grandchildren, Mathew, Ashleigh, Leslie, John, Amber, Christopher, Zachary, Conner and Gunner.
